DRIVE PACKAGE
Drive package options include: 2-speed manual shift, T2® AutoShift, or T3® Autoshift. Includes oil cooling system.
VORTEX® SCREW
Vortex® Screw mixes quickly without compromising feed quality. Constructed of welded steel with 5/8″ cupped fliting. Multi-angle design option. Pre-drilled to accept knives. Single or dual kicker available.
RAPTOR® KNIVES
Engineered to complement our standard knives, the Patented RAPTOR® knife features a forward-facing design to dig in, hook, & cut bales faster and more aggressively. Built to last with AR steel, the RAPTOR® knife is ideal for high-hay rations including large round or square bales and/or baleage. RAPTOR® knives should be used in the first two or three slots from the top of the screw down, depending on knife formation. Available for all Vertical Mixer Series. Choice of five knife sizes. XH (EXTRA HEAVY) UNITS
XH (Extra Heavy) units feature a welded steel tub with 3/8″ thick walls and a 3/4″ reinforced bottom.
SIDE EXTENSIONS, STEEL/RUBBER
Adds additional mixing capacity. Extends tub height 9-1/4″.
DISCHARGE CONVEYOR
Discharge conveyor for optional front door opening can be trailer mounted (feed not weighed on conveyor) or tub mounted (feed weighed on conveyor). Choice of fixed or sliding flat conveyors with right-hand, left-hand, or reversible discharge. Flat with incline and fixed incline conveyors with right-hand or left-hand discharge also available.
OPTIONAL TUB MOUNTED MAGNET*
Encased in stainless steel, this magnet is strong enough to pull tramp metal from the ration while mixing. Mounted into the Patz vertical Mixer tub wall, the hinged assembly with quick open lever is designed for safe removal of tramp metal.
Exclusive to Patz – only to be installed on Patz Vertical Mixers. Factory and field installation is available on ALL Patz Stationary, Trailer, and Truck Mount Vertical Mixers.
CAMERA PACKAGE
View rear of mixer from tractor cab while backing up or discharging feed from optional rear commodity door. Includes 7″ LCD monitor and weatherproof, shock-resistant infrared camera for night vision.
SELF-STEERING REAR AXLE
Available on the 1,100 cu. ft Patz 2400 Series III Trailer Twin Screw Vertical Mixer: Self-steering rear axle with heavy-duty spring suspension and four super single truck tires. Rear axle self-steers utilizing lateral forces that are applied to the tires from contact with ground. The forces steer the implement in the appropriate direction, minimizing tire wear and stresses on axles, hubs, spindles, and suspension pipe.
