Tillage System
The Ultimate Weed Control for Dryland Farming
Many dryland farming operations have experienced herbicide-resistant weeds and have been searching for a reliable solution to regain their soil health. The Minimizer blade plow, formerly produced by Premier Tillage, can be operated between 6 and 10 MPH to help producers take control of their soil health in fallow ground and cover more acres per day.
Lead Coulter
The lead coulter slices through residue to clear a path for the shank.
Blades
The heavy-duty blades follow the lead coulter and slice through weed roots beneath the soil surface.
Stubble Treader
The trailing hydraulically controlled stubble treader features conservation-style picker wheels that grabs shallow-rooted weeds and removes them from the soil. The stubble treader places small weeds and roots on top of the soil to create a protective barrier which conserves moisture.
Frame
Heavy-Duty Performance
The Minimizer blade plow is available in working widths ranging from 66’ 6” wide down to 25’ 6” wide with many options in between. Each model features multiple frame sections depending on the size to follow field contours for the most consistent tillage action.
Hitch
The heavy-duty A-frame hitch is longer which permits a tighter turning radius and the standard hydraulic hose holder keeps hoses out of the dirt while not in use. Depending on size, a hydraulic hitch cylinder equals out the weight when transporting the machine.
Frame
The frame features our patented hydraulically operated rockshaft system improves weight distribution for the most level performance – no need for turnbuckles.
Gauge Wheels
All models features transport wheels mounted on 8-bolt hubs and 320/70 R15 tires and wing gauge wheels for level performance. Depending on size, some models feature an extra set of transport wheels and tires on the main frame.
