Large Square Baler Automation

Stay on Windrows with Hands-Free Steering

With no operator involvement, tractor speed is automatically adjusted to match windrow volume to maximize baler throughput. Using a LiDAR (Light Detecting and Ranging) sensor mounted on the cab, windrows are followed automatically by the tractor, even at night, delivering hands-free operation. The sensor also measures tractor speed and, depending on swath volume, reduces speed to prevent overloads or increases speed to maximize productivity.

Large Square Baler Automation:

  • Keeps bale length and weight consistent by maintaining a consistent flake count.
  • Reduces fuel consumption.
  • Increases baler capacity by adjusting speed to reach the desired stuffer/plunger ratio without operator input.

Round Baler Automation

Stop. Wrap. Eject. Repeat.

With Round Baler Automation, never wonder if a bale is ready to be wrapped and ejected. When the bale reaches its target size, the system will automatically stop the properly equipped Vestrum®, Puma®, Optum® or Maxxum® series tractors. It will then automatically apply net wrap. When wrapping is complete, it will raise and lower the baler tailgate to eject the wrapped bale. Then, you can just drive forward to keep baling.

Round Baler Automation reduces repetitive operator actions and optimizes cycle times, making your operation as efficient as possible.
