Multiple Delivery Options
The MM 952 and 1092 hay mergers offer eight different delivery options. With the capability to merge crop to the center, left, right, split, these mergers can adapt to any conditions to create windrows to best meet your harvesting needs.

ISOBUS Controls
The standard ISOBUS controls, now featuring an updated Human-Machine Interface (HMI), give operators the ability to manage multiple machine functions directly from the tractor cab. This streamlined control system is especially valuable when frequent adjustments are needed throughout the day, enhancing both efficiency and ease of use.

Hydropneumatic Suspension
Hydropneumatic suspension, now standard on KUHN's MM 952 and 1092 mergers, delivers exceptional responsiveness and smooth operation over uneven terrain—similar to the performance seen in KUHN's triple mowers. This advanced system ensures superior ground following for optimal crop pickup. Pressure settings are easily adjusted through ISOBUS terminals, allowing for simultaneous and precise machine configuration.

Narrow and Simple Transport
The simple folding design allows quick transition from field to road. Transport is a narrow 9’10” (3.0 m) wide and transport height is 11’10” (3.6 m). Field to transport position is accomplished quickly as only one hydraulic valve per head is used for folding.

It Starts with the Pickup

Small-Diameter Pickups
The small-diameter pickup is designed for efficient forage collection in both light and heavy crop conditions. Its adjustable rotational speed helps protect delicate forage by minimizing leaf loss. Standard synthetic stripper bands make inspection and routine maintenance quick and easy. Additionally, a newly designed transfer plate behind the pickup ensures a smooth and consistent crop flow from the pickup to the belt, enhancing overall performance.

Adjustable Roller Windguard
The roller windguard automatically adjusts to the amount of forage and guides it to the belt to obtain uniform, fluffy windrows. The design eliminates roping to ensure easy harvesting.  New ISOBUS controls allow the operator the ability to adjust the angle of the windguard depending on the crop types. 

Heavy-Duty Belt Conveyors
Commercial-grade belt conveyors allow the crop to be effectively transitioned into the windrow, regardless of discharge side. The conveyor belt is self-cleaning and requires no tracking adjustments. Each conveyor has an easy-to-access splice for fast removal or replacement, if necessary, due to maintenance and normal wear.

A quick-release belt tensioning system simplifies storage and routine adjustment. Easy adjustment from one side maintains uniform pressure over the width of the belt. It is recommended to take the tension off of the belts between cuttings and during the off season.

Updated Tine & Tine Bar Design
Redesigned curved tines reduce stress on the tine and cam roller by 37%, increasing overall longevity of the pickup and reducing the amount of wear and maintenance cost. The cam follower arms have been extended, reducing rotation angle by 32% to limit downtime. In addition, the incorporation of KUHN's exclusive split bearing design means minimal maintenance time and maximal tine bar longevity.

Floating Skid Shoes
Dual, wide skid shoes allow each head to rapidly adapt to rolling field conditions while maintaining very low ground pressure. Floating skid shoes are a KUHN exclusive. The pivoting action allows the pickups to float over pivot tracks and rough terrain. Additionally, the special shape and pivoting of the shoe allows for self-cleaning when lifted into headland position to eliminate crop buildup. The skid shoes are reversible on their mounts for even wear and longer life.

Easy & Secure Operation

Hydraulic Controls
Power beyond, free return and load sense hydraulic lines allow the operator full control of the machine through the ISOBUS terminal for increased operator comfort.  

If power beyond, free return and load sense are not available, the power return and free return can be used in a standard SCV.

2-Point Hitch
The standard two-point hitch is compatible with Category 2 and 3N quick hitches, offering versatile connection options. Integrated shock absorbers at the base of the hitch enhance driving comfort during both transport and field operation, ensuring a smoother experience for the operator.

Flotation Tires
Standard 500/45-22.5 flotation tires are designed to minimize soil compaction, prevent rutting and preserve field stand, especially when merging in wet field conditions. For added safety during transport, standard hydraulic brakes ensure reliable stopping on the road.
