The SC852 stump cutter, equipped with a Deutz TD2.9L Tier 4 Final engine, delivers 74 hp (55 kW) of powerful stump grinding performance.
A unique four-bar linkage maximizes cutting width by moving the cutter wheel away from the machine as the boom drops.
SmartSweep™ control system helps improve efficiency and productivity at the stump while helping to minimize wear and tear on the machine.

With ample ground clearance, the machine cruises over challenging terrain.
Get into tight spots with side-mounted controls that are easy to reach, and an auxiliary control station that lets the operator lead or follow the machine through narrow confines.
Without the dual wheels installed, the SC852 is only 35 in (89 cm) wide, allowing it to enter narrow backyard gates and access tight jobsites.
Maintain a safe distance by choosing the optional remote control, which allows you to operate the cutter from up to 100 ft (30 m) away.
