HG6000TX Horizontal Grinder Features & Benefits

Productive and powerful

The Series III duplex drum is built off the proven cutting performance of previous Vermeer duplex drum designs and makes maintenance more convenient with enhancements such as an independently secured wedge system and enhanced drum balancing.

Maximize feeding capability with machine sidewalls that provide optimal flow of material and minimize operator interaction.  

The feed roller planetary is fully enclosed for protection from debris and offers a tighter clearance between the feed roller and mill housing, helping reduce material blockage and drag on the feed roller circuit.  

The track-driven grinder offers onsite mobility with a remote control for easy maneuverability. The DT6 optional integrated dolly transport system eliminates the need for a dedicated trailer to move between sites.

Intelligent operation

Maximize productivity thanks to the exclusive Vermeer SmartGrind system, which automatically controls grinding speed based on engine rpm levels.

Machine damage caused by metal contaminants entering the hammermill can be costly. The Vermeer Damage Defense system helps protect your machine by detecting certain metal contaminants.  

An industry-leading, full-function, wireless remote control lets you adjust machine settings from the cab as conditions change, including control of the infeed settings, engine droop, conveyor height and more.
