Powerful and control
A 275-hp (202.3-kW) Cummins® diesel engine provides all the power needed for tough, demanding jobs.
Offset horizontal feed rollers, coupled with a robust pulling force, facilitate ease of material feeding and reduce the need for manual control of the upper feed roller when chipping large-diameter material.
An optional winch can be added to aid in transporting large material to the infeed table, helping reduce manual material handling.
The optional Tree Commander™ remote control enhances jobsite productivity by enabling remote operation of brush chipper functions and can be conveniently attached to the operator’s belt or mounted on a Vermeer mini skid steer.
Intelligent feeding
The EcoIdle™ engine control system reduces engine speed to a preset lower rpm after one to five minutes of inactivity, saving fuel and reducing jobsite noise.
With a 21-in (53.3-cm) capacity and one of the largest infeed tables in its class, the BC2100XL allows for smooth feeding of large material.
The exclusive SmartCrush system provides increased down pressure on the material being fed and assists when feeding forked or branchy material.
SmartFeed, a patented feed-sensing control system, boosts operator productivity and reduces engine strain by monitoring engine rpm and controlling feed rollers.
Safety
The patented bottom feed stop bar is strategically positioned so the operator can strike it to shut off the feed mechanism.
