Fertilizer Augers for Corn Planters Features & Benefits

The Kasco Planter Auger System fills fertilizer boxes quickly, easily, and safely. Utilizing a two auger system — horizontal and vertical augers — Kasco’s system is designed with safety in mind. All hoppers have safety shields over the auger flighting and over each set of holes in the tubes. The augers are powered by hydraulic motors which can be plumbed in series. The horizontal auger fits securely over the planter boxes, ensuring even distribution of fertilizer. The vertical auger is mounted independently. Its hopper is carried high enough to clear the ground when the planter is in operation, yet the top of the hopper will set under the discharge chute of the gravity wagon. All tubes are plastic for durability and rust‐resistance; flighting is available in either steel or rubber.
